The Henderson Silver Knights were defeated by the Milwaukee Admirals, 4-2, Friday evening at Lee’s Family Forum.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Both teams stayed quiet until the 8:32 mark of the first period when Oasiz Wiesblatt put the Admirals on the board with an assist from Jordan Oesterle and Cole O’Hara. With just 2:27 left in the period, the Silver Knights tipped in a messy goal, courtesy of Mathieu Cataford with help from Lukas Cormier and Jakub Brabenec, evening the score. The second period started with Milwaukee’s Reid Schaefer scoring their second goal just two minutes in. Jake Lucchini got Milwaukee their third goal a little over seven minutes into the third period with an assist from O’Hara and Schaefer. Henderson’s Jaycob Megna answered with a goal of his own to bring the score to 3-2. With just 45 seconds left, an empty-netter from Schaefer secured the 4-2 win for Milwukee.
