The Henderson Silver Knights fell to the San Diego Gulls, 4-1, at Pechanga Arena in San Diego, CA on Friday night.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
The Silver Knights would strike first on a goal from Matyas Sapovaliv midway through the first period. With 90 seconds remaining in the second period, Matthew Phillips would put the Gulls on the board, tying the game at 1-1, going into the second intermission. Five minutes into the third period, San Diego’s Ryan Carpenter scored to give the Gulls a 2-1 lead. 23 seconds later, Sasha Pastujov would make it 3-1 San Diego. With the Henderson net empty, Stian Solberg shot in the dagger to seal a 4-1 Gulls victory.
