HENDERSON BATTLES HARD BUT FALLS TO BAKERSFIELD 4-2

The Henderson Silver Knights fell to the Bakersfield Condors, 4-2, on Friday night at Dignity Health Arena in Bakersfield, CA

HOW IT WENT DOWN

Bakersfield opened a 1-0 lead early in the game when Rhett Pitlick squeaked one past the goal line. Four minutes into the second period, Braeden Bowman scored his seventh goal of the season from Raphael Lavoie and Jakub Brabenec to tie the game. Soon after, Pitlick scored his second of the game to give the lead back to Bakersfield, 2-1. Joe Fleming tied the game once again when he scored his first AHL goal. The Condor’s Matt Copponi then scored his first AHL goal to give Bakersfield a 3-2 lead. Daniel D’Amato scored an empty-net goal to make the final score 4-2 for the Condors.

The Silver Knights will play one more game in Bakersfield tomorrow at 7 p.m. They will then return to Henderson next weekend to take on the Calgary Wranglers on Saturday and Sunday, followed by the Milwaukee Admirals on November 21 and 22.
