HENDERSON DEFEATS ONTARIO, 2-0, IN FIRST ROAD GAME OF THE SEASON

The Henderson Silver Knights defeated the Ontario Reign, 2-0, at Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA on Friday night.

HOW IT WENT DOWN

After 41 minutes of back-and-forth hockey, Tanner Laczynski broke through to score the game’s first goal. Near the end of the third period, Raphael Lavoie scored the insurance goal while on a 5-on-3 power play, giving Henderson a 2-0 lead. Goaltender Carl Lindbom earned his first shutout of the season, stopping 18 Ontario shots.

The Silver Knights will be on the road again, heading south to play the San Deigo Gulls tomorrow night. The Silver Knights will return to Henderson on Friday, October 24 to play the Gulls at 7 p.m. On October 25, the Silver Knights will host Knightmare on Ice presented by Travel Nevada.
