The Henderson Silver Knights opened their 2025 preseason with win against the Tucson Roadrunners.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Halfway through the opening frame, Lukas Cormier found Jakub Brabenec on the power play to give Henderson a 1-0 lead. In the second period, once again on the power play, Kai Uchacz tipped in a Cormier shot to double the Henderson lead to 2-0. Near the end of the second, Tucson’s Noel Nordh scored to cut the Silver Knight’s lead to 2-1. A scoreless third period secured the 2-1 victory for Henderson.

The Silver Knights will be back on the ice Sunday afternoon for their second preseason matchup against the Tucson Roadrunners. Puck drop is set for 2 p.m. Fans are invited to Opening Knight as the Henderson Silver Knights host the Abbotsford Canucks on Friday, October 10 at 7 p.m. at Lee’s Family Forum. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a Silver Knights magnet schedule. The two teams will meet again on Saturday, October 11 at 7 p.m., with the first 2,500 fans receiving a Town Crier bucket hat. Watch all the action on FloHockey or listen live on 1230 The Game.
