The Henderson Silver Knights defeated the San Diego Gulls, 3-2, in overtime on Friday night at Lee’s Family Forum.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Following a scoreless opening 20 minutes, Henderson’s Braeden Bowman scored the first goal of the game from Jeremy Davies and Raphael Lavoie 45 seconds into the middle frame. Two minutes later San Diego’s Jan Mysak tied the game. Less than a minute later, Roland McKeown gave the Gulls a 2-1 lead. Early into the third period, Jackson Hallum scored his first AHL goal from Christoffer Sedoff and Viliam Kmec to tie the contest. With 15 seconds remaining in the overtime period, Bowman scored his second goal of the night to secure Henderson’s third straight win.

LOOKING AHEAD
The Silver Knights will play the Gulls for the third straight time tomorrow evening at 6 p.m. PT and will be celebrate Knightmare on Ice presented by Travel Nevada. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Trick-or-Treat tote bag. On Wednesday, Oct. 29, the Ontario Reign will make their first trip to Lee’s Family Forum.
