The Silver Knights defeated the Bakersfield Condors, 4-1, on Sunday night at Lee’s Family Forum. Goaltender Carl Lindbom stopped 36 of 37 shots on goal to secure his third victory of the season.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Braeden Bowman gave the Silver Knights the early lead with a goal two minutes into the contest. It marked his sixth goal and eighth point in his past eight games. Jake Bischoff and Joe Fleming also assisted on the play.
Early in the second period Gage Quinney tipped in a Calen Addison shot, doubling the Henderson lead on a delayed penalty.
Bakersfield’s James Hamblin brought the Condors within one with a goal late in the frame.
Kai Uchacz regained a two-goal lead for Henderson halfway through the third period, assisted by Mitch McLain and Riley McKay. With two minutes remaining in the contest Dysin Mayo buried the empty-net goal to secure the 4-1 victory for Henderson.
