2024-25 SEASON SERIES
Henderson is 1-2-0 against Calgary this season and enters this matchup off of a decisive victory on Saturday evening. Mason Morelli (2G, 1A), Riley McKay (1G, 2A) and Grigori Denisenko (0G, 3A) all tallied three points. An additional four Silver Knights – Mitch McLain, Mason Geertsen, Kai Uchacz, and Brendan Brisson – recorded multi-point nights. All three Alberta-born skaters for Henderson recorded at least one point in their home province. Goaltender Jesper Vikman earned his first AHL win of the 2024-25 season in his first start this year, stopping 28 of 31 shots on goal.

After just their second loss in their last 10 games, the Silver Knights are preparing for a fast start from the Wranglers this afternoon. Klapka, Poirier, and Pelletier all recorded two point nights for the Wranglers. Pelletier (2G, 11A) and Kerins (10G, 3A) stand ninth and third in the league in scoring, respectively.

Offensive Outburst: The Silver Knights matched a couple of franchise bests on Saturday. Their five-goal first period was the third such period in franchise history, improving Henderson’s first period goal differential on the season from minus-11 to minus-6. The Silver Knights also matched a record with eight goals, the second time they had reached that figure. The Silver Knights beat the Iowa Wild on February 2, 2024 by an 8-1 score. Seven different Silver Knights scored a goal on Saturday. The Wranglers entered the weekend with the AHL’s second-lowest goals-against average.
