Brandon Hickey, Gage Quinney, and Kai Uchacz all tallied goals for Henderson, while goaltender Akira Schmid made 36 saves in his fourth game of the season. 2023-24 SEASON SERIES
Henderson finished the 2023-24 season 3-4-1 against Ontario. The Silver Knights won three of four visits to Toyota Arena, including an overtime and a shootout win. Forward Jakub Brabenec scored three goals against the Reign last season, including an overtime winner on December 13. He also netted a shootout winner against the Reign on February 9.

OPPOSITION UPDATE
The Reign stand ninth in the Pacific Division with a 1-3-0 record. Forward Tyler Madden leads Ontario in scoring with three points (2G, 1A) in four games. Goaltender Pheonix Copley has a GAA of 3.64 and a save percentage of .885 through his two starts. The team has started the 2024-25 season without several major contributors from its previous year, as forwards Akil Thomas and Alex Turcotte, as well as AHL All-Star defenseman Brandt Clarke, are currently with the Reign’s NHL affiliate, the LA Kings.

KEYS TO THE GAME
A Big Add: Calen Addison made his Silver Knights debut on Friday, earning two assists in the Silver Knights’ 5-3 defeat. Addison was signed to a one-year AHL contract by the HSK on Thursday. He has appeared in 152 NHL games for the Wild and Sharks since 2020, registering six goals and 50 points. He was named to the 2021 AHL All-Rookie Team with Iowa.

What U Can Do: Kai Uchacz scored his first AHL goal on Friday in the final minute of the third period. The rookie has a goal and two assists through his first six professional games, and he leads the Silver Knights with a plus- 5 rating. Uchacz broke the 80-point mark in each of the past two seasons with the WHL’s Red Deer Rebels, earning First All-Star Team honors for both campaigns.
