The Henderson Silver Knights fell to the San Diego Gulls, 6-3, at Lee’s Family Forum on Wednesday night.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
The first goal of the contest went to San Diego’s Nikolas Brouillard giving the Gulls a 1-0 lead at the halfway mark of the first. Four minutes later, San Diego scored two quick goals, one minute apart, raising their lead to 3-0. At 17:17 of the first, Jeremy Davies scored Henderson’s first goal from Jakub Brabenec. Soon after, Rapheal Lavoie’s spin-o-rama goal cut into the San Diego lead, making the score 3-2 going into the intermission. San Diego retook a two-goal lead on a goal from Justin Bailey at 11:27 in the second. The Gulls bumped their lead to 5-2 with a goal by Yegor Sidorov late in the third. Lukas Cormier scored a 6-on-5 goal to dig into the deficit. Nico Myatovic quickly regained San Diego’s three goal lead with a power play goal, solidifying the final score as 6-3.

The Silver Knights will be on the road to Bakersfield for the first time this season to play two games against the Condors on November 7 and 8.
