The Henderson Silver Knights defeated the Tucson Roadrunners, 4-3, Saturday evening at Lee’s Family Forum.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Henderson opened up the scoring on a power play goal early in the first. Kai Uchacz earned his fifth of the season with a rebound goal while crashing the net. The goal came unassisted at the 1:56 mark of the period. The Silver Knights continued the scoring with a goal from Sloan Stanick a few minutes later. The Roadrunners cut the lead in half later in the first with a goal by Andrew Agozzino at the 13:30 mark of the frame.
Henderson finished the second period with 12 shots on goal.
Tucson tied it at two early in the third with a goal from Ty Tullio. The Silver Knights took the lead back on a power play goal from Tuomas Uronen at the 12:35 mark of the frame. Henderson added to their lead with their third power-play goal of the game by Tuomas Uronen, his second of the night. The Roadrunners would get one back with a point shot at the 17:33 mark of the period. Despite Tuscon’s push at the end the Silver Knights held on to their lead and won the game 4-3.

The Henderson Silver Knights will be back at The Stronghold tomorrow night to face the Roadrunners 5 p.m. Then they will meet the Bakersfield Condors this Wednesday at 7 p.m. Henderson will then hit the road to face the Texas Stars on Friday, January 30th at 7 p.m.
