While plans for the Silver Knights’ inaugural season may be on hold, the team is moving full steam ahead on projects that will make Henderson the choice destination for players across the league. The latest project under construction is the Henderson Event Center, an enclosed multi-purpose venue with a capacity of 6,000 that will serve as the Silver Knights’ home. The Golden Knights partnered with the City of Henderson to make the project happen.
On October 28 media and select guests were invited to the site to celebrate a construction milestone with the team. The afternoon was complete with remarks from Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz, Henderson Mayor Debra March and Vice President of Whiting-Turner Zach Crane, and a ceremonial puck drop from the Mayor and HSK players Reid Duke and Gage Quinney.
To top off the day, select guests went home with commemorative lances to celebrate the milestone!
