The Silver Knights defeated the Abbotsford Canucks, 4-1, on Saturday night at Rogers Forum.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
After a fast-paced but scoreless opening period, it was Joe Fleming who would break open the scoring at 2:41 of the second. In the latter stages of the period, Abbotsford’s Arshdeep Bains tied the game at 1-1. Early in the third, Dylan Coghlan found Trevor Connelly in front of the crease for an easy tip-in to make it 2-1 for Henderson. Later, while on the power play, Connelly found a streaking Raphael Lavoie who made it 3-1. Soon after, Tanner Laczynski buried one into the empty net to lock down a 4-1 Henderson win.
