SILVER KNIGHTS CRUSH THE ‘CUDA, 4-2

The Silver Knights defeated the San Jose Barracuda, 4-2, at Tech CU arena in San Jose, CA on Saturday night.

HOW IT WENT DOWN

Sloan Stanick would score the first goal of the contest from a sharp angle to give Henderson an early 1-0 lead. Near the end of the first period, Dylan Coghlan scored a short-handed goal from Jackson Hallum and Kai Uchacz to give the Silver Knights a 2-0 advantage. Uchacz would score his first goal of the game on the first shot of the second period. In the later stages of the second, San Jose’s Mattias Havelid would cut into the Henderson lead, 3-1. Midway through the final frame, Tanner Laczynski would reclaim a three-goal lead off of a Brandon Hickey assist. This assist is Hickey’s first point of the season, earned in his 200th AHL game. With the goalie pulled, San Jose would add one more goal from Donavan Houle to make the final score 4-2.
