The Henderson Silver Knights fell to the San Jose Sharks, 6-2, at Tech FCU Arena on Friday evening. Mason Morelli scored his eighth goal of the season and Gage Quinney extended his point streak to five games.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Gushchin gave the Barracuda a 1-0 lead early in the opening frame.
Morelli, who returned to the lineup this evening, tied the game at one with an unassisted goal at 10:46 in the first.
Captain Jake Bischoff gave the Silver Knights their first lead of the game less than two minutes later. Quinney extended his point streak with the primary assist. Kai Uchacz, who had the secondary assist, now has eight points in his last eight games.
Robins made it a 2-2 game at 3:44 in the second period.
The Barracuda scored four unanswered goals in the third period from Cagnoni, Vincent, Graf, and Carlsson to secure a 6-2 victory in the first of the two-game series.
