The Henderson Silver Knights fell, 4-2, to the Tucson Roadrunners on Saturday afternoon at Lee’s Family Forum.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Drew opened the scoring for the Roadrunners early in the first. Nordh and Sokolov extended Tucson’s lead to 3-0 heading into the first intermission. Forward Bear Hughes cut the deficit to two with an unassisted goal midway through the second period. With just over two minutes left in regulation, Kelemen added an empty-net goal for the Roadrunners. Forward Grigori Denisenko, assisted by Robert Hagg and Gage Quinney, scored with the extra attacker on to make it a 4-2 final.
