The Henderson Silver Knights defeated the Milwaukee Admirals, 5-1, Saturday evening at Lee’s Family Forum.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Milwaukee opened up the scoring 5:34 into the first period. Kyle Marino put the Admirals on the board with a wrist shot from the slot. Henderson would strike back later in the period on a power-play goal from Trevor Connelly. Connelly blasted a one timer in the back of the net from the right circle tying the game up 1-1. Tanner Laczynski and Dylan Coghlan came up with the assists on the play at the 9:29 mark of the period. The Silver Knights then took their first lead of the game late in the frame thanks to a goal from Tanner Laczynski. Henderson and Milwaukee stayed quiet through the second period. Henderson added to their lead in the third with a goal from Jonas Rondberg. Later in the frame the Silver Knights sealed the deal with a rebound goal from Lucas Johansen. Henderson went on to score their fifth and final goal with an empty-netter from Jakub Brabenec at 16:34 in the third.
