VEGAS (NOVEMBER 30, 2021) – Vegas Knight Hawks General Manager and Head Coach Mike Davis announced today, November 30, the signing of five players to their roster.

Quarterback Jaylon Henderson spent 2018 and 2019 at Boise State. In 2019, the Texas native appeared in nine games, which included four starts. Henderson threw for 1,080 yards along with 12 touchdowns and added 156 rushing yards. He was named the offensive MVP of the Mountain West Championship game to cap off his collegiate career.

Offensive Lineman Rob Castaneda is a three-year IFL pro who last played for the Frisco Fighters. The 320-pound lineman was a part of the Sioux Falls Storm Championship winning team. He spent his college career at Utah State where he started all 26 games he played in.

Wide Receiver and Vegas local Caleb Holley is entering his first season in the IFL. He played in the Canadian Football League over the last three seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Ottawa Redblacks where he started 47 games. During that time he totaled 157 receptions and 1,963 yards with seven touchdowns. Holley spent two training camps with the Buffalo Bills in 2014 and 2015. In addition, Holley spent two years at East Central University and recorded 55 receptions for 970 yards and seven touchdowns in his Senior season.

Defensive Lineman Cedric Wilcots will enter his first year as a professional after the COVID-19 pandemic cancelled his 2020 campaign. Wilcots recently spent time at the Winnipeg Blue Bombers training camp. The 24-year-old played four years at New Mexico State from 2016-2019. In his career as an Aggie, he made 107 total tackles, 19.5 sacks and forced four fumbles.

Wide Receiver ArDarius Stewart is entering his first season in the IFL after spending time in the Winnipeg Blue bombers training camp. Before having his first CFL year cancelled, he spent time in the NFL most notably with the New York Jets. He started two of the 15 games he played in and had six receptions for 82 yards. He played for Nick Saban at Alabama from 2013-2016 before entering the NFL draft. In 27 games played in college, he earned 117 receptions for 1,564 yards and 12 touchdowns.

The Knight Hawks are expected to continue building their roster prior to the start of their inaugural season. The team will take the field for the first time at The Dollar Loan Center in March 2022.
