Henderson Silver Knights Hire Brian McCormack As Director Of Broadcasting And Communications

HENDERSON (January 21, 2021) – The Henderson Silver Knights announced today, January 21, that the organization has added Brian McCormack to the front office staff, where he will serve as the Director of Broadcasting and Communications. In his role, McCormack will be the voice of the Silver Knights on 1230 The Game (KLAV) and for all locally televised HSK games on Sinclair Broadcast Group’s cluster of networks. McCormack will the primary point of contact for any media requests regarding players and team staff.

 

The Long Island native, 31, was most recently in a similar role with the AHL’s San Antonio Rampage from 2018-2020. Prior to joining the Rampage, he spent three years in the ECHL where he worked for the Idaho Steelheads. While there, he was named the ECHL’s Broadcaster of the Year in 2018 and was the broadcaster for the 2018 ECHL All-Star Classic that aired on NHL Network.

McCormack graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 2014 with degrees in both communications and political science. He now resides in Henderson, NV with his fiancée, Ali.
